Welcome to The Heart of NanaLand
A cozy space for drawing closer to Jesus — preferably with coffee in hand.
Closer to Jesus, 10 minutes at a time
Hi there — I’m Lynne, a storyteller, a Nana, and someone who is always within reach of a good cup of coffee! I’m also a woman who thought that a deeper walk with Jesus required more time and quiet than my life seemed to allow.
But guess what? It doesn’t.
For years, I’ve carried a vision of creating a space where women can pause, exhale, and reconnect with what matters most — a space that feels like a deep breath for the soul. Simple. Encouraging. Rooted in truth. That’s how The Heart of Nanaland was born.
NanaLand is the season I’m living in right now — the beautiful, busy, deeply meaningful place of being a grandmother. But I know you might be in a completely different season. Maybe you’re in the thick of raising kids, or navigating the sandwich years of caring for both children and aging parents, or building a career, or simply trying to keep all the plates spinning in whatever land you call home. The seasons look different. The busyness? Pretty much the same.
And in every season, finding time with Jesus can feel harder than it should.
That’s the heart of why this space exists — a cozy corner of the internet where women can slow down and spend a few intentional minutes with God, no matter what their days look like.
Because life is full. Whether you’re raising kids, caring for grandchildren, supporting aging parents, working, serving at church, managing a home — or some impossible combination of all of the above — you are not failing for feeling stretched thin. Life is just a lot.
That’s why everything here is built around one simple goal: to help you draw closer to Jesus, 10 minutes at a time.
You’ll find short devotionals you can actually fit into a real day, encouragement rooted in Scripture, gentle reminders of who God is and who you are in Him, honest reviews of Christian books and Bible resources so you know what's actually worth your time, and the occasional story that reminds you — you are not walking this alone.
Each post arrives right in your inbox, like a quiet moment with your Bible and a warm cup of coffee. Or a note from a friend who’s on the same road.
However you found your way here — YouTube, Facebook, Etsy, or just a random Google search on a hard day — I’m so glad you’re here.
My hope is that this becomes a place where you feel encouraged, grounded, and gently drawn closer to Jesus. Not through pressure or perfection. Just through small, faithful moments with Him.
So — welcome. I’m truly grateful you’re here.
“Let everything you do be done in love.”
1 Corinthians 16:14
